The Move To Slicehost & Mephisto

Finally, I’ve been meaning to move my blog over to Slicehost from Textdrive and at the same time switch blogging software to Mephisto instead of Typo. After a long time of a not-so-well performing site, I kept just putting it off as there is a lot of work in doing one of these migrations never-mind the whole lot at once. I just think that typo + my textdrive for life account weren’t that compatible and I’ve seen a great performance boost already.
Wanting to blog a little more and have a platform i’m more comfortable hacking and improving was the main motivator. Now, having finished University I am able to devote time to such things :).
Hopefully, I’ve remembered to change everything over so you guys didn’t notice a thing! Stay tuned as I should have a bit of a write up on how the whole thing went.
