After seeing the post on the rails weblog about the Rails Hackfest 2007 I decided to give it a shot. I managed to get up to about number 13 at one point but finished 23 overall, close but no cigar. At the very least, i’ve learned a lot about some of the inner workings of Rails I had previously turned a blind eye to. Congratulations to all those winners, and thanks to Derek from CD Baby for sponsoring the competition.
It’s probably just as well I didn’t win, as it turns out my finals at Queen’s will be starting on the 17th-ish and I would more than likely have had to miss an exam.
